Trying something on before you buy it is something we tend to take for granted. Unless you’re shopping online, you don’t have to wait until you get home to see how you look in a new shirt or a pair of pants. We’re used to this when it comes to clothing, but wouldn’t it be great if this try-before-you-buy mentality could work in other aspects of our life? Wouldn’t it be great if you could try on a new smile?
With The Smile Studio you can do just that! The Smile Studio gives Dr. Sohl and the rest of our team the ability to digitally map out your new smile for you to see ahead of time. You can finally try on a new smile before you buy it.
The Smile Design Studio Difference
Unless you’ve had a recent accident which let you mouth in disarray, you’ve been living with your oral issues for a long time. Every time you look into a mirror you see the little things that bug you. It may be something as major as sharp, crooked and misshapen teeth, or something as minor as an uneven smile. Either way, you may have noticed you don’t smile as big or bright as you want to.
Getting work done is something you know you need, but all you have to go on is the word of your dentist. They say your mouth will look good, and you believe them, but it’s still something that’s just…out there. You don’t really know what you’ll like until the very end. That’s how it used to be before the Smile Design Studio.
With the Smile Design Studio, Dr. Sohl will show you exactly how your new mouth will look. You’ll be able to see it with your own eyes, touch it with your hands, and show it off to your friends and family before the first bit of work is even completed. Instead of looking into a mirror which only shows how you look right now, you’ll look into a mirror of the future.
The Smile Design Studio Process
Everything begins with your appointment. During this initial appointment with Dr. Sohl, you’ll come into the office knowing your smile isn’t quite right, but maybe you don’t know exactly what needs to be done to fix it. This is where the first step of the process really comes into play.
Using a special camera, we’ll take a couple pictures. The first is of your entire face, the second is just of your mouth. Once this is uploaded into our computer, we’ll be able to determine what needs to be done to improve your smile. We’ll look at everything from your teeth placement and gum support, to your teeth’s shape and length. Using this information, we’ll digitally fix your dental misalignment right on the screen. The changes will then be placed into the image of your face. This is your first opportunity to see your new smile, but we aren’t done there.
At the same time you’re looking at your new smile in a 2D, we’re busy making the next step in the process, a wax mold of your new smile.
Based on the changes in 2D, we will make a 3D wax temporary veneers of your new smile. You will also have the opportunity to try the temporary veneers on and see what your new smile will look like before we even begin treatment. What used to be just a picture on a computer screen is now real. Look in the mirror, talk with your family, laugh, talk, smile, take a selfie, do whatever you can because this is what you’ll look like once your treatment is completed.
The perfect, straight teeth you’ve always wanted are right in front of your face. Teeth are straight and even, there are no missing teeth or chips, everything is as it should be. Everything you’ve hoped for in your mouth is real. However, now comes the hard part: taking the temporaries back out. But even though you eventually have to take them out, you’ll have the renewed confidence of knowing exactly what you’ll like when treatment is completed. It may not be there now, but you’ve seen what will be there eventually.
The Smile Design Studio is perfect for any oral issues, even dentures. If you’ve ever wanted to create your perfect smile, but you’ve had trouble picturing what that looks like, then call Dr. Sohl’s office and make an appointment for The Smile Design Studio. You’ll come in with the hope of seeing a new you, and you’ll leave having seen the new you with your own eyes. Don’t live in the dark another day, come see the light of your bright smile in person right away.
